Hi everybody,

when I'm starting a connection with a Lotus Notes-Connector, I recieve the message

"Could not open Notes session"

configuration
HTTP-PORT: 63148
Sessiontype: IIOP

a few moths ago the Assembly line worked without any problems.

I don't know what's the problem...can anyone help me please?

Thanks.

Hi,

Well there are a few things you should check.

If you are using the DIIOP with the diiop_ior string in the connector you might want to update this string. If there has been any changes in the infrastructure this string will change.

Check how the configuration of the domino server are set up. If you are using or resently changed the configuration mode to read from the web server configuration on the domino server, you need to verify that the diiop are activated for the server you are connecting to and with the correct url.

Have you checked the domino console to see what kind of messages you get on the domino server?

You can also change the log level of the diiop service on the domino server by using Tell DIIOP Log=4, but remember to reset the log level after testing since you will get alot of logging with this setting active.

I hope this helps a bit :)

Sincerly
Max

Hi,

thank's Max, I've checked all your suggestions...

Solution:

In the Domino Administrator on my Domino Server the field Internetprtocoll/DIIOP/Hostname/adress was empty.

I filled in the Hostname --> Problem solved
